Our department welcomes the new year with a brand new web site

Starting from 2002, our department opens itself to the outside world with a brand new WEB system. The new system, apart from classical text-based WEB pages, is controlled by a database-driven software. The pages are automatically updated according to newest announcements, seminars and academic events. The out-of-date events are again automatically taken out of scope. All updates can be performed by our staff and administration unit via a user-friendly web based interface. Both English and Turkish versions are instantly available for the user within any page of the system. Although all Turkish data are correctly displayed in Turkish version, considering computers that does not support the Turkish language characters, all characters are converted to nearest ASCII character in the English version. With this new system, all publications, research projects, theses and disertations will be reachable together with statistical informations. Improvements will continue with the help and support of our visitors.
