General Information
COST Action 262 has been coordinating research efforts in the area of Spread Spectrum Systems and Techniques in Wired and Wireless Communications for several years. As a result of these efforts, leading scientists from the academia and the industry shared their experience in regular meetings and conducted joint research. This Seminar, as a continuation of these efforts, will provide participants with the latest information and knowledge about technical and system aspects of spread spectrum and broadband communications and provide a forum for discussion and exchange of opinions via the lectures given by leading scientists.

The topics to be covered include various aspects of 3G systems as well as important topics relevant to 4G systems.

In a special session, the young researchers will be given the opportunity to present their recent research activities in 10-minutes presentations.

Who should attend
This Seminar will be of interest to researchers, engineers, project managers and those interested in the future communications systems. The seminars, which will be given by the leading scientists in their fields, will provide a wide perspective to the participants about the 3G systems and alternatives for the 4G systems.
