Prof. Dr. Özlem Özgün ranked among the 'World’s Most Influential Scientists' by Stanford University

Prof. Dr. Özlem Özgün from our department has been included in the "career-long impact" category of Stanford University’s prestigious "World’s Most Influential Scientists" list in both 2023 and 2024.
Prepared in collaboration with Elsevier BV, this comprehensive study by Stanford University evaluates researchers working across 22 main scientific fields and 174 subfields, selecting those who rank within the top 2% of the world’s most influential scientists based on their academic impact. The ranking is determined using key performance indicators such as the number of high-quality publications, the impact factor of the journals in which they are published, citation counts, and the h-index.
Prof. Dr. Özlem Özgün’s presence on this distinguished list for two consecutive years is a testament to the global recognition of her contributions to science and the high impact of her research.
